Steven Burke - Pendle’s Bronze medal Olympian

On Saturday 15th November 2008, members of Pendle Forest Sports Club are invited to a new youth cycling initiative which is being launched by Cycle Sport Pendle at Pendle Vale College Campus from 10am to 1pm.

Steven Burke, Pendle’s Bronze medal Olympian, will be present where there will be a host of activities and ‘try out’ equipment available suitable for children of 10 years and upwards.

The outside grounds, auditorium and the reception / cafe areas of the school will all be used at the same time as our regular Football Academy is being held inside the sports hall (see separate article for further information).

This is a great opportunity for the members of Pendle Forest to have a taste of cycling and enjoy the additional activities on offer.
