£39,000 raised since formation in 1968

Following its formation in 1968, the 200 Club at Pendle Forest recently celebrated its 40th anniversary and held a party in the Clubhouse on Friday 22nd August 2008 to celebrate.

During the last 40 years, it is estimated that £39,000 has been generated from activities of the 200 Club towards Pendle Forest and it is pleasing and commendable to report that 20 of the current members have participated from the very start !!

For an annual cost of only £13, the 200 Club is open to everybody over the age of 18 and as well as providing entry into the weekly cash draws with higher prizes being paid every 4th week, it also includes Social Membership to Pendle Forest Sports Club which is presently £10 per annum in isolation.

The Executive Committee of the Club wish to express their thanks to Raymond Townsend for his dedication and commitment to making the 200 Club a continued success.
