Smiles from Robert and Sarah before she departs for Tanzania

An international team of new players to wear our Club badge next season !
Robert Atkinson is the captain of Forest's under 10 blacks. His sister, Sarah Kellett, is flying out to Tanzania early June 2008 where she has volunteered to teach children. As well as teaching, she will also help refurbish the school providing children with resources that many of us take for granted in the UK. Sarah is currently a student teacher at Leeds Metropolitan University. She will be staying in a village called Moshi at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro which Sarah also plans to climb after teaching for four weeks. She has been collecting sponsorship as she has to fund the trip herself and also has been collecting basic classroom materials like pencils, rubbers, crayons etc. Her suitcase for the children is full now especially with Pendle Forest Under 10 Black's kindly donating their old kit! But if anyone out their would still like to sponsor Sarah they can contact her by clicking here. Hopefully, Sarah will take a photo of the children in Tanzania wearing the Forest shirts and a further article will appear on our Website in due course. Steve
