Children having fun at the well attended festival of sport

Great work by Andy & Dave in conjunction with Burnley Sports Partnership

Andy Webb & Dave Horrocks have just completed the first of the multi-skills programmes with 6 Burnley Primary Schools on behalf of Pendle Forest Sports Club.

They spent nearly 8 weeks working on various techniques with boys/girls of varying ability and in some cases moderate to severe learning difficulties.

Burnley Sports Partnership were delighted with the results. Not only did the children's sporting ability improve, but feedback from teachers pointed to an upturn in general behaviour in school !!

The programme culminated in a festival held at Barden on 16th November. This went unbelievably well, considering the sheer numbers involved.

The children had the chance to show both parents & teachers some of the games they have been taking part in. Once again the feedback was excellent & the children behaved impeccably.

Andy & Dave start work in 10 more primary schools this week - they know the blueprint works, so hopefully will repeat the successes.

The reputation of the Club has once again been enhanced & Burnley Sports Partnership & their schools, are ANOTHER satisfied customer.

On behalf of the Club, thanks are expressed to both Andy & Dave who should be proud on delivering something so worthwhile.
